And Acoustic Blender is back TONIGHT at 5:05 for (almost three hours of the best in folk, roots et al music. There are still some wonderful premiums being offered during this show for our pledge drive we'd sure like to wrap up soon.
We'll have a couple of folks from the 2017 Portland Music & Arts Festival stop by and tell us about this Saturday's festival. But musically? Peter Yarrow just turned 79 and Hazel Dickens would have had a birthday in the past few days, so we'll hear from them, but new music too, from Joe Jencks, Shawn Taylor Tunes, Jordi Baizan, some music to reflect concern for the future of our environment in light of the current administration, music from folks who will be at this weekend's Roots on the River festival, a set of music from next weekend's Clearwater Festival June 17-18, and more to be determined.
Of course, there always the concert listing at 7pm with music from folks playing in the area like Sharon Goldman, Abbie Gardner, The Hot Flashes ...
