Tonight opens with home phone recording of Wesleyan University alumni, Amanda Palmer, performing solo with just her uke on campus @ the Humanity Festival. An event produced by the Students to bring peace, attention and awareness to on campus tensions over race, class, religion, and sexual orientation. It was CHILL FEST!
And so, after hearing (quite after-the-fact) about a poem Amanda Fucking Palmer wrote and posted on her blog. It was a real explosive media event. And So ... live on-air here: I read the poem. And then I read the blog about it commenting along the way. Amanda's handling of this media event is a fine testament to living imperfections and the vital role of art in life.
It matters to hear this episode in whole.
There are tears still falling over what happened in Boston and I feel your profound hollowed challenges of the heart, I Do.
Boston, Cambridge, and Watertown were all once my home communities for I lived in the Boston area for 20 years, and today I still feel a piece of home with all who live a love life there,
Today, I live to hear of your healing of family, friends, self, culture and all the world; to bring our spices to a higher living ideal of humanity and peace on earth than the harm that rules minds gone mad to behave within the perpetuation of hate.
Followed by the song "Critical of This"" and more excerpted recording from Amanda live at the Humanity Festive on the Campus of Wesleyan University. mashed up and bleeding into a piece of the song "Is This Just A Question Game"
Now the show moves on to the Hartford Advocate's Best Of Reader's Poll Event late Thursday. The here words for the Children of Humanity from Rachel Adele, Uncle john, WESU's General Manager "Big Bent" Ben Michael, Adam, and Micky.

Tonight Show #047 April 21,2013! Voices for Humanity's Children. Thanks to the producers, artists and humans in attendance at two Wesleyan University Campus Events 1. Humanity Festival on Foss Hill and 2. a public conversation with South African trumpeter, composer, producer, and activist Hugh Mescal at Crowell Concert Hall.

Opening music by Viso "Classik Az' First a little something from Robert Fripp's Exposure LP Urban Landscape & some words by Joanna Walton "I May Not Have Enough Of Me But I've Had Enough Of You". Coming next in the back ground is some music from Eno Moebius Roedelius Plank' / begegnungen 1984

First voice is a film student Tristan Basscrouger (Spelling?), followed by Don Minot, Brown Eyes, and Sister Jamaica; founder of "Grow Youth Universal" (Carol Grant Williams) who shares some human thoughts and then reads her poem "RUN" about the Maroons (Jamaican Freedom Fighters), drumming by her sister Cofi.

Next, i share my thoughts about some hope for Journalism rising out of the wake of the Boston Bombing. Followed by Spoken Mind Poetry tracks from 'The ID (Inkless Dialogue) Poems / Volume 1.1': "Pure Wrongness" and later in the show "Happy Is More Powerful Than Reality".

Back to the Humanity Festival: The student musicians and their PR man (Event preformers) (with the working band title) J Hogar all share their creative collaborative views on "Are we human?" Mel, Sam, Jess, Jeff, and Derrick.

Then, recorded early this same day from outside Crowell Concert Hall after listening to the fine-grounded living-soul voice of Hugh Masekela, comes more voices for Humanity's Children, starting with WESU producer and host of Dandy-Shandy with Chazie (Chazell Roden). followed by internet historian Craig Kelly, musician Rich McGhee, Hartford poet / playwright Margaux Modimo Hayes and then Kate Rushin's poetic peace of mind and a live excerpted reading from her original poem titled "Giant Steps ...'. Note the use of the word 'Hewer'

Here comes the previously mentioned second Spoken Mind Poem.with the music of John Voigt; from 'Outsider Bass; 1993' then another unreleased track from the The ID (inkless Dialogue) Poem collection of Spoken Mind Poetry: 'By the mind opening unto itself' an lastly a personal favorite from the unreleased collection 'Peace'.

Tonight! late night Saturday into Sunday April 6th -into the 7th, Life Happened; I did not make it into the studio till 2:15 AM from which point i was able to grace the last 45 minutes of the show with my most grateful presence and gratitude for the existence of WESU and all the Staff. PLEASE DO READ THE 'THANKS TO' BELOW!

The UnderFocus of 'The I Do Not Know Show' surfaces tonight with words from David Bauer of WESU's original program 'The David Bauer Hour' and Maria Johnson of WESU's original program Reasonably Catholic. The out to the live event on campus April 6th 2013 HUMANITY FESTIVAL! Words from the people of the earth involved in the production of the event and in attendance from student to locals. Then a taste of what you missed if you were not at this fundraising / free event for a future scholarship and the heal the woes of intolerance on campus by just coming out to chill. A truly wonderful event!

!!! THANKS TO Viso, producer and host of the 'Classik Az' (the program that proceeds 'The I Do Not Know Show') The a live signal from the studio was kept alive. Az, my friend and fellow WESU staff member, dug into his amazing sound library of film and television audio clips. Having also managed to russell up a sound clip of my voice, he was able to mark the show in progress till I arrive in person. I support Az in his choices that (to some, who are unaware of his passionate radio persona) may sound harsh and very much in the character of his show.; in which i am a big fan.

To all the student and attendees of the Humanity Festival held on Wesleyan University campus on Saturday, for not going live as i said I would via an announcement from the stage at the event. And Tank you to Event Producers I also was able to perform a poem " for the students and locals in attendance at this free event. The Special guest at the event as WESU alumni and world know recording artist Amanda Palmer. I'd also like to introduce to the show's listeners: independent artist studding Communications, Krystal Green, who recently has shone interest in becoming and intern associate-producer for "The I Do Not Know Show" starting with remote segments that asks people (in a verity of public settings) to record their voice's will in support of humanity for the children of tomorrow.
