The World of Tomorrow is a fantastic six issue series from writer Giles Clarke and his publishing company, Uncharted Wilderness Studios. It's the tale of a down-and-out actor finding some form of redemption in mid-50s Hollywood, while dealing with an injury sustained psychosis that spins the reader into a sci-fi world of adventurous fun. It's a great story with solid art, identifiable characters, and a time period that excels on the printed page. Listen in as we discuss the comic, its development, and how it finds an audience in a very competitive marketplace.

Matt Ryan was my first in-studio guest after 2.5 years of Covid restrictions kept both me and other entities to remote work. This, his second appearance, coincides with the release of another issue of BRENDA, his all-ages fantasy comic series about the most adventurous young girl whose name graces the cover. Imagine if Conan the Cimmerian had a daughter and you get the general gist of what BRENDA is, only with more fart jokes. We discuss the series, where it's headed, music, publishing, and a whole lot of other fun things in this discussion that gave both of us a shot of energy after a busy weekend.
