Humanity Festival on Foss Hill and 2.&nbsp;a public conversation with South African trumpeter, composer, producer, and activist Hugh Mescal &nbsp;at Crowell Concert Hall.</p> <p><br /> Opening music by Viso &quot;Classik Az' First a little something from Robert Fripp's Exposure LP Urban Landscape &amp; some words by Joanna Walton &quot;I May Not Have Enough Of Me But I've Had Enough Of You&quot;.&nbsp;Coming next &nbsp;in the back ground is some music from Eno Moebius Roedelius Plank' / begegnungen 1984</p> <p><br /> First voice is a film student Tristan Basscrouger (Spelling?), followed by Don Minot, Brown Eyes, and Sister Jamaica; founder of &quot;Grow Youth Universal&quot; (Carol Grant Williams) who shares some human thoughts and then reads her poem &quot;RUN&quot; about the Maroons (Jamaican Freedom Fighters), drumming by her sister Cofi.&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> Next, i share my thoughts about some hope for Journalism rising out of the wake of the Boston Bombing. Followed by Spoken Mind Poetry tracks from 'The ID (Inkless Dialogue) Poems / Volume 1.1': &quot;Pure Wrongness&quot; and later in the show &quot;Happy Is More Powerful Than Reality&quot;.&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> Back to the Humanity Festival: The student musicians and their PR man (Event preformers) (with the working band title) J Hogar all share their creative collaborative views on &quot;Are we human?&quot;&nbsp;Mel, Sam, Jess, Jeff, and Derrick.</p> <p><br /> Then, recorded early this same day from outside Crowell Concert Hall after listening to the fine-grounded living-soul voice of Hugh Masekela, comes more voices for Humanity's Children, starting with WESU producer and host of Dandy-Shandy with Chazie (Chazell Roden). followed by internet historian Craig Kelly, musician Rich McGhee, Hartford poet / playwright &nbsp;Margaux Modimo Hayes and then Kate Rushin's poetic&nbsp;peace of mind and a live excerpted reading from her original poem titled &quot;Giant Steps ...'.
