Pint O' Comics Episode 325 w/ Doc Wyatt and Luke Arnold

ESSENTIALS is the latest mind-bending, science fiction graphic novel from The Lab Press, written by scriptwriter and producer Doc Wyatt and author and actor Luke Arnold. Doc has a litany list of credits to his name, from My Little Pony to Transformers and far beyond. Luke has acted in numerous films and series, likely best known as "John Silver" in the Starz series BLACK SAILS, now being released on Netflix. Doc and Luke discuss ESSENTIALS with host Sir Jon, the numerous well-known artists involved and the esoteric tale it encompasses. The book is now being crowdfunded on Kickstarter, so check it out and get in on the ground floor of this extremely inventive and exciting series.

Available on February 14th from Top Shelf, it's a 300 page monster of a book that is well worth the time spent to delve into. Highest recommendation.

Darrell Sullivan arrives to join CC for the night. Tonight opens with home phone recording of Wesleyan University alumni, Amanda Palmer, performing solo with just her uke on campus @ the Humanity Festival. An event produced by the Students to bring peace, attention and awareness to on campus tensions over race, class, religion, and sexual orientation. It was CHILL FEST!
And so, after hearing (quite after-the-fact) about a poem Amanda Fucking Palmer wrote and posted on her blog. It was a real explosive media event. And So ... live on-air here: I read the poem. And then I read the blog about it commenting along the way. Amanda's handling of this media event is a fine testament to living imperfections and the vital role of art in life.
It matters to hear this episode in whole.
There are tears still falling over what happened in Boston and I feel your profound hollowed challenges of the heart, I Do.
Boston, Cambridge, and Watertown were all once my home communities for I lived in the Boston area for 20 years, and today I still feel a piece of home with all who live a love life there,
Today, I live to hear of your healing of family, friends, self, culture and all the world; to bring our spices to a higher living ideal of humanity and peace on earth than the harm that rules minds gone mad to behave within the perpetuation of hate.

The lost episode #45 due to Archive system crash has been found and recovered! Here it is.

The I Do Not Know Know Show #45 Radio As Art. A 3 and 1/2 (Three and One half) HOUR Show. First 2 hour covering for Classik Az with Az calling the Show & Alex Smith of Radio EcoShock; he calls the show and reads poetry and introduces his show. + Spoken Mind Poetry and some radio chaos transpires (and that is fine.)

THE AUDIO ISSUES: Well, this is a show that had it's share od tecnical isssues. The radio show's archive stream system went down and I had no knowledge of this at the time. The Live Call-ins went out onto the airways but were never heard via the headphones in studio A. A wild ride for sure. Both callers Classik Az and Alex Smith (of Radio EcoShock (both radio producers) could only speak directly to you without my ability to hear them. I only heard a fiant audio delay from outside studio A and see the vioce print being activated as they spoke! This archive refelcts the lack of audio interface i was able to manage as the phone conection to you went out live: yes! it went out live!

And so too, this show was never avaialable till (now) Early on in May. (I'm hoping the link I post works as as type this)

..... Thank you Viso (Classik Az), and Alex Smith (Radio Eco Shock) for your professional willingness to go out live on air on regardless of the issues before us. Now that's beautiful!
