Paul Kupperberg has had numerous assignments at DC Comics, Archie Comics, the Weekly World News, and doing Mad Libs that you kind of think he's done it all. Yet for the last few years he's branched out into a published interview series of books that are true pieces of history. From DIRECT COMMENTS where previously published interviews with working greats of the time was edited and collected, to DIRECT CONVERSATIONS in which Paul talked to his contemporaries, to the currently crowdfunding DIRECT CREATIVITY with discussions amongst currently active creators. These books are filled to the brim with information of a sort that would normally be lost to history, making them important to all comic book writers, artists and historians. It's a great story with solid art, identifiable characters, and a time period that excels on the printed page.
