Flint Dille is a writer of books, games, and animated series, perpetually known as "Story Consultant" for the great Transformers: The Movie from 1986. On this episode we discuss as much as can be after a lengthy dive into how much the Transformers as a property seem to have taken over on a larger scale than other creations from the 80's. And, as always, the fun really starts to happen at the very end of the show. Flint will be back for a round 3 at some point in the future. August 1986: Transformers: The Movie is released and causes a stir amongst millions of kids across North America. The film, in which many beloved characters are brutally killed off, has parents complaining to Hasbro, the toy manufacturer of the Transformers line. But who cares, right? The soundtrack is awesome and different, and fully 1980's. For this show, Sir Jon spins the entire soundtrack, but not the original. In its stead is TRANSFORMERS: 1986 by the Canadian group, The Cybertronic Spree, who perform every track in their own Robots in Disguise way. You'll love every moment.
