Episode: Acoustic Blender - Joan Baez focus tonight
In honor of Joan Baez's 75th birthday this Saturday, we're going to play a lot of her music tonight. Since her career took off in 1959 at the ripe old age of 18, there's a lot to choose from.
There is always the weekly concert listing around 7pm (a greatly expanded version is on the show 's Facebook page - feel free to like the page) plus music from folks playing in the area, music from some other folks celebrating or would be celebrating birthdays (i.e. Patty Loveless, Iris Dement, Earl Scruggs, Sandy Denny), and a smattering of new releases. The focus tonight, though, is Joan Baez. Tune in!
