A good night to tune in to Acoustic Blender - WESU FM, Middletown CT. Bend In The River will be live in studio A tonight. This young bluegrass trio from across the river in Portland is a local gem and you can hear them live on the show tonight! [Post-show note - and they were wonderful!] 

We have a lot of birthdays to observe tonight including Nic Jones , Joan Baez, Amy Gallatin, Frank Critelli, Ellis Paul, Shawn Colvin, & Robert Earl Keen. Seven of them.

The concert listing comes on around 7:00 and we'll hear from some of the folks playing locally like Cheryl Wheeler with Kenny White, The Cadleys, & Seat Of Our Pants. It will be difficult to fit in anything new with all the birthdays but at the least, a cut from Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper. Maybe more? It is a packed show tonight.
