Episode: Acoustic Blender - Ernest Troost live on WESU

Tuesday, and once again, we have a world-class musician live in the studio. Ernest Troost ( Kerrville New Voices winner, Emmy winner for TV scoring; he also scored the cult classic Tremors) returns to the show tonight. We'll get some live music, stories and more in the first hour.

The concert listing at 7:00, with music from folks playing in the area like Molly Tuttle, John McCutcheon @ The Sounding Board, Seat Of Our Pants, David Mallett, a too quick birthday set for a lot of folks like Mary Travers, Bonnie Raitt, Chris Smither, Judith Edelman, Abigail Washburn, hope to squeeze in Gordon Lightfoot's The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald since the anniversary of its sinking just passed (sorry., ran out of time .. next week)..

AND music from Dana Merritt and Frank Critelli who have both appeared on this show since they will be performing at WESU's Freeform Feast and Festival THIS SATURDAY! This supports the station (and maybe shrinks the upcoming pledge drive) and for just $25, a dinner and some great music. Go to www.wesufm.org to get your ticket.

Next week, we start at 5:05 with a very lengthy Thanksgiving classic.
